Whether you want to visit Blarney Castle, explore Cork City, discover the beautiful coastal town of Kinsale or simply enjoy a scenic tour of County Cork, we can arrange your journey around the time you have available ashore.

Cobh Cruise Port Private Excursions

Cobh is one of Ireland’s most important cruise destinations and an ideal starting point for exploring Cork and the surrounding region.

Instead of travelling as part of a large organised coach tour, a private Cobh shore excursion gives you greater flexibility. Choose where you would like to go, spend more time at the places that interest you and enjoy comfortable private transport throughout your visit.

Our excursions can be tailored around your ship’s arrival and departure times, helping you get the most from your day in Cork.

Popular Places to Visit from Cobh Cruise Port

Blarney Castle & Gardens

One of the most popular destinations for visitors arriving in Cork. Visit historic Blarney Castle, explore the beautiful gardens and, of course, climb to the top of the castle to kiss the famous Blarney Stone.

A visit to Blarney can also be combined with Cork City or other nearby attractions.

Cork City

Discover the heart of Cork with a visit to the city centre. Popular stops can include the English Market, St Patrick’s Street, the River Lee and some of Cork’s historic landmarks.

We can provide convenient drop-off and collection, giving you time to explore the city at your own pace.

Kinsale

Travel through the Cork countryside to the colourful harbour town of Kinsale.

Known for its picturesque streets, waterfront, restaurants and maritime history, Kinsale is an excellent destination for cruise passengers looking to experience another side of County Cork.

Cobh & Cork Harbour

You don’t necessarily have to travel far from your ship. Cobh itself has a fascinating maritime history and spectacular views across Cork Harbour.

Spend some time discovering Cobh before continuing to other destinations around Cork.

Create Your Own Cobh Shore Excursion

Already know where you want to go?

We can create a private tour from Cobh Cruise Port based on the places you would most like to visit.

Depending on the time available, your excursion could include:

• Blarney Castle & Gardens
• Cork City
• Kinsale
• Cork Harbour
• Cobh
• Local historical attractions
• Scenic countryside routes
• Restaurants, pubs and shopping stops

Tell us what you would like to see and how much time you have ashore, and we can help plan a suitable itinerary.

Cobh Cruise Port Pick-Up & Return

We understand that cruise passengers have a limited amount of time ashore.

Your excursion can be planned around your cruise schedule, with collection in Cobh and sufficient time allowed for your return before your ship’s scheduled departure.

This makes our service suitable for couples, families and small groups looking for a more personal alternative to a large organised cruise excursion.
